Their contracts allow them to lead double lives as EDF employees and top-level athletes. More than 50 current players are doing just that in both the amateur and professional game.

In the UK, EDF Energy became the title sponsor of the fiercely contested Anglo Welsh cup competition - the EDF Energy Cup - in 2006, and the four English cup competitions the EDF Energy National Trophy, EDF Energy Intermediate Cup, EDF Energy Senior Vase and EDF Energy Junior Vase.
We are Community Partner of the Guinness Premiership and have launched the EDF Energy National Schools Rugby Programme, the largest schools tag rugby programme of its kind. Over the next three years it will introduce over 100,000 8-10 year olds to the game We hope this will stimulate greater interest and participation in the game for years to come.
